Service Description

Photo facial, also known as intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy, is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses pulses of light to improve the appearance of the skin. It is commonly used to treat skin conditions such as sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and rosacea. During a photo facial treatment, a handheld device emits short pulses of intense light that penetrate the skin and target melanin and other pigments. The heat generated by the light destroys the pigmented cells, which are then naturally eliminated by the body's immune system. The treatment is generally performed in a series of sessions, with each session lasting between 15 to 30 minutes. The number of sessions required depends on the skin condition being treated, but typically, a series of four to six treatments spaced several weeks apart is recommended. Photo facial is generally considered safe for most skin types, although some people may experience mild redness or swelling after the treatment. It is important to protect the skin from sun exposure before and after the treatment, as the skin may be more sensitive to UV rays. A licensed esthetician or dermatologist can provide more information on whether photo facial is a suitable treatment option for individual skin concerns.
